NOW CONFIRMED: Arsenal, Chelsea in blockbuster new transfer battle as ‘juicy’ offer for West Ham ace prepared

Arsenal and Chelsea are once again locked in a battle for a top player, this time targeting West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus. Both clubs have a history of competing for signings, with Chelsea coming out on top when pursuing Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023. Despite their struggles to secure a deal for Mudryk, Arsenal managed to dodge a bullet as the player has not lived up to expectations at Chelsea.

The rivalry between the two clubs is set to continue as they both eye Everton midfielder Amadou Onana this summer. Onana’s sister and agent has confirmed interest from both clubs in signing her brother, indicating another potential transfer war between Arsenal and Chelsea.

Recent reports from Spain suggest that both clubs are now interested in Kudus. The 23-year-old has impressed since joining West Ham, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in 27 games. His performances have caught the attention of Arsenal and Chelsea, with the Blues currently leading the race for his signature. Chelsea is reportedly preparing an offer of €45million, though West Ham could demand upwards of £50-60m due to Kudus’ growing value.

Despite Chelsea’s current advantage, Arsenal cannot be discounted as they are performing better than their rivals in the Premier League this season. However, Arsenal may need to sell some players to fund a big-money move for Kudus. Emile Smith Rowe is one player who could be sold, with interest from Aston Villa and West Ham.
