SAD NEWS: The 3 Leeds United players set to exit club amid promotion race

Leeds United has their sights set on maintaining their push for promotion to the Premier League, but they also need to keep an eye on their plans for the upcoming summer transfer window. Regardless of what division they find themselves in next season, it’s likely that some players will be leaving Elland Road, potentially having already played their last game for the club.

Three players in particular stand out as potential departures from the Whites. Right-back Cody Drameh has struggled to secure a consistent spot in the first team since arriving in 2020 and is currently on loan at Birmingham City, with his contract set to expire this summer. Similarly, Lewis Bate has found it difficult to break into the first team setup and is currently on loan at MK Dons, with his contract also set to expire. Sam Greenwood, while still contracted until 2026, is currently on loan at Middlesbrough and has been performing well, potentially leading to a permanent move to the Teesside outfit.

As Leeds United focuses on their push for promotion, they must also be prepared for potential changes to their squad in the summer.
