West Ham pursue Thomas Tuchel as potential replacement for David Moyes
There are strong rumors suggesting that West Ham may be interested in bringing in Thomas Tuchel if they decide to part ways with David Moyes.
The Hammers were previously linked with Tuchel when Moyes was under pressure last year, and now it seems that the German coach is back on their radar.
Journalists have claimed that Tuchel could be a target for West Ham, with the club’s technical director expressing confidence in being able to lure Tuchel, who is a personal friend, to the team.
Despite Bayern Munich announcing their separation with Tuchel, he has also been linked with Barcelona, leading many to believe that West Ham’s chances of landing him were slim.
However, a recent update from a German journalist has given West Ham hope of securing Tuchel as their manager, as there is mutual admiration between Tuchel and the Premier League.
Considering that Tuchel has previously kept his residence in London and the unlikelihood of bigger clubs pursuing him in the summer, West Ham may have a real chance of securing Tuchel as their manager.
If the Barcelona move doesn’t materialize, then West Ham’s potential interest in Tuchel may become a reality, but of course, this all depends on whether or not the team will be in the market for a new manager.
