According to reports, Tottenham is eyeing Conor Gallagher as a potential summer transfer target. If he does not extend his contract with Chelsea, Spurs are ready to swoop in and make a move. However, if Gallagher stays put, the club has already lined up a Plan B in the form of Everton’s James Garner.
Garner has been an impressive performer in the Premier League, showcasing the kind of energy and purpose that Postecoglou values in a midfielder. With the addition of Lucas Bergvall in the summer, Spurs may already have their midfield puzzle solved. But adding another exceptional talent would certainly not go amiss with the fans.
