‘AGREEMENT IN PROGRESS’-Everton are keeping to sign 24-year-old Serie-A keeper and they have made an enquiry for him.

Everton, a Premier League team, is monitoring the progress of Roma’s goalkeeper Mile Svilar. Svilar, a Serbian goalkeeper, has been gaining more attention as he performs well for Roma, including saving two crucial penalties in their recent match against Feyenoord. This has put pressure on Rui Patricio’s position as the first-choice goalkeeper.

According to Daniele Longo’s report, Svilar’s impressive performance could lead him to become a regular in Roma’s first team until the end of the season, potentially relegating Patricio to the bench. However, there is a possibility that Roma may lose Svilar in the future.

Everton has expressed interest in the 24-year-old goalkeeper and has made an initial inquiry, though Roma is reluctant to sell unless they receive a significant offer. Despite Svilar’s emergence, Roma is still considering signing a new goalkeeper in the summer, with Wladimiro Falcone from Lecce being a potential target.
