Leeds ace was fuming at Daniel Farke despite emphatic win last night

Leeds United secured a crucial victory over Championship leaders Leicester City, putting them in a prime position to secure automatic promotion at the end of the season. Despite falling behind early in the match, the home team rallied with three late goals, sending the Elland Road crowd into a frenzy.

Junior Firpo, however, did not share in the celebration. Substituted by manager Daniel Farke, Firpo reacted with visible anger, even launching a water bottle. Farke later confirmed that Firpo apologized for his outburst, but such behavior is not likely to be well received in a team on an unbeaten run and chasing down the league leaders.

With only six points now separating Leeds from Leicester, every player needs to be fully committed to the team’s goals in order to close the gap and secure promotion. The victory has put them in a good position to capitalize on the remaining 12 games of the season and potentially overtake the Foxes.
