Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on acquiring Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush, a 25-year-old Egyptian player who has been in stellar form this season, netting 15 goals across all competitions and providing five assists. BILD reports that the striker’s price tag would be in the range of €30-40 million at the end of the season, posing a potential challenge for Tottenham in terms of securing his signature.
However, the German club is not willing to part with Marmoush for a bargain price, indicating that Tottenham will need to meet their demands if they are serious about bringing him to the club. With the north London side needing a quality striker to lessen their reliance on Son Heung-min and with Richarlison showing a resurgence in form, Marmoush’s arrival would provide a long-term solution in attack.
The prospect of moving to the Premier League and testing himself against top defenders will likely be an appealing opportunity for Marmoush. However, competition for his signature is fierce, with reports suggesting that Newcastle United are also interested in securing his services.
