“TOTAL DISASTER” Finance expert makes shocking revelation of how many points of Everton and Nottingham Forest to be deducted

Stefan Borson, a finance expert and former financial advisor for Man City, predicts that both Everton and Nottingham Forest could be facing a points deduction of up to three points each due to Profitability and Sustainability breaches. Everton recently had their 10-point deduction reduced to six, putting them five points clear of the drop zone with 12 games remaining, but are still awaiting the results of their appeal on a second breach for 2021/22. Premier League regulations state that no team can lose more than £105million over a three-year period, less if a side was in the EFL, which puts Forest at a disadvantage after being promoted from the Championship. Borson feels that both teams are likely to face additional points deductions, and believes it’s a relatively straightforward decision for the independent commission. The hearings for the clubs are anticipated to take place in early March, with a decision then expected in April, and any appeals could extend the process beyond the end of the season.
