‘Finally’… Reece James reacts to what 25-year-old Chelsea player did today against Leicester

Mark Cucurella was over the moon after scoring his first goal for Chelsea in their cup clash against Leicester City over the weekend.

Chelsea managed to secure a 4-2 victory against Leicester at Stamford Bridge during the FA Cup quarter-final match on Sunday.

This win means Chelsea will be making a comeback to Wembley Stadium next month to face Manchester City in the semi-finals. On the other hand, Coventry City will be up against Manchester United in the other semi match.

The 25-year-old Cucurella, who has been working hard on his recovery from injury, played brilliantly in both recent games. His outstanding performance against Leicester included scoring his first goal for Chelsea.

He made his mark by scoring a simple goal after sliding the ball into an empty net following a cross from Nicolas Jackson. The left-back’s attacking prowess and hunger to score were evident in his performance.

After the game, Cucurella took to Instagram to celebrate his goal and Chelsea’s victory. His teammates, including Reece James, congratulated him on the milestone, with James playfully teasing him for finally scoring.

Cucurella impressed not just in the Leicester match but also in the game against Newcastle United earlier in the week. Reports suggest that Chelsea may consider selling him at the end of the season, but his recent performances could change the club’s decision.

Despite a tendency to be rash at times, Cucurella’s solid play and energy on the field make him a valuable asset as a full-back. With Ben Chilwell returning from injury to compete for the left-back position, it will be interesting to see how Cucurella fares after the international break.
