Despite Celtic’s disappointing January transfer window, where most of their targets, including Wolves’ star Hugo Bueno, were unavailable, there is still hope for a potential move in the summer.

Celtic were keen on signing Bueno, but Wolves rejected their offer to take him on loan until the end of the season. However, the 21-year-old left-back is open to the idea of playing in Scotland and getting consistent playing time with the Hoops in the summer.
Although Wolves value Bueno as an important player for the future, they may face multiple bids for him and other key players in the upcoming window. Clubs in France and Spain are also showing interest in Bueno, adding to the competition for his signature.
While Bueno may need to step up for Wolves if some players leave in the summer, his long-term deal with the club until 2028 indicates his importance to them. Despite his connections to Celtic’s rivals, Rangers, there is still a possibility of Bueno making the move to Celtic Park as an alternative to their primary target, Jefte.
