Injury bombshell from Hull City boss: Key striker ruled out of highly anticipated clash against Leeds United.

Unfortunately for Hull City, they will be without the services of Liam Delap as they prepare to take on Leeds United at Elland Road next Monday. Delap played a crucial role for the Tigers in the early stages of the Championship season, scoring seven goals and contributing to Liam Rosenior’s team’s push towards the play-offs.

However, a knee injury has sidelined the Manchester City loanee since January, leaving a void in the Hull lineup. Despite their struggles in recent games, sitting three points outside the top six, there is optimism that Delap will make a return in the near future as they aim to improve over the final nine matches.

Although the trip to Leeds may come too soon for Delap, Rosenior remains hopeful of a mid-April return for the talented forward. Manchester City’s facilities will aid in his rehabilitation process, ensuring he is fully fit and ready to contribute upon his return.

Hull will face Stoke City before heading to Leeds and will be eager to navigate through this challenging period without any additional injury setbacks. They will be counting down the days until Delap’s comeback, knowing that his presence will be a significant boost for the team.
