Devastated Pascal Struijk launches impassioned plea to fire up Leeds United for promotion after catastrophic injury setback

Pascal Struijk has delivered a heartfelt message to his teammates as they continue their push for promotion without him for the remainder of the season.

The Leeds United centre-back underwent surgery on his hip, bringing his season to an early end after 25 appearances, with his last game being against Preston North End on Boxing Day.

Manager Daniel Farke confirmed the surgery went well and that Struijk has already begun the rehabilitation process. Despite his absence, the team has seen strong performances from Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon in defense, conceding only three goals this year.

Though disappointed to not be on the field with his teammates, Struijk remains optimistic about their chances of promotion. In a post on Instagram, he expressed his confidence in the squad and pledged his support from the sidelines. “You got this, boys,” he wrote, as he focuses on his recovery and return to full strength.
