Tottenham Hotspur have been strongly connected with a potential move for Antonio Nusa before the upcoming summer transfer window.
Despite Ange Postecoglou’s team appearing close to securing the Club Brugge prospect in January, their efforts were thwarted by Brentford.
However, Nusa’s stay in Belgium was extended due to issues arising from his medical at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Spurs are still interested in the 18-year-old forward and have purportedly initiated negotiations to acquire the talented winger later this year.
In addition to Nusa, Tottenham is reportedly eyeing his club teammate Andreas Skov Olsen as well, according to Voetbalkrant.
The report suggests that Spurs have been monitoring Skov Olsen’s progress since his time at Bologna before joining Brugge in 2022.
Currently, Tottenham is contemplating the possibility of swooping in for both Nusa and Skov Olsen from Brugge.
Skov Olsen, 24, has been in exceptional form in Belgium with 22 goals in 45 games across all competitions, along with eight assists while playing on the right flank.
Having scored eight goals in 29 appearances for Denmark, the Danish forward plays alongside Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg at the national level.
Hojbjerg has praised Skov Olsen, comparing him to Ryan Giggs and describing him as an old-school winger who excels in one-on-one situations in April 2022.
Skov Olsen’s age and talent make him a perfect target for Tottenham, in line with the type of players the club has been pursuing recently.
Whether or not Spurs will move for both Skov Olsen and Nusa remains uncertain, especially given their immediate midfield concerns.
