Attention fans attending Saturday’s match between Coventry City and Leeds United at the Coventry Building Society Arena: please be aware that there will be a temporary road closure after the game.
The A444 Jimmy Hill Way will be closed after the match to ensure the safe exit of supporters. This closure will be put in place around 4:30pm, prior to the final whistle, to facilitate the smooth flow of pedestrian traffic leaving the Coventry Building Society Arena.
With an estimated 30,000 fans expected at the match, the safety of all attendees is our top priority. Once it is deemed safe to do so, the road closure will be lifted.
Vehicles in Car Park C can exit towards Coventry City Centre, following the diversion route if heading towards the M6. Car Parks A and D will be released first to minimize disruption once the closure is lifted.
The road closure spans from A444 Holbrook Way to M6 Junction 3, allowing exit only from Car Park C and Arena Shopping Park southbound towards Coventry City Centre. Please use designated crossing areas when leaving the Arena, as traffic will be restricted while the closure is in effect.
Similar closures have been successfully implemented for previous events at the Arena, and we are committed to ensuring the safety and success of this post-match closure. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
