In preparation to face relegation strugglers Blackburn Rovers, Coventry City manager Mark Robins has made significant changes to his starting lineup. Unfortunately, influential midfielder Ben Sheaf is out with an injury, as well as Luis Binks with an Achilles issue.
Despite a tough game earlier in the week, goalkeeper Brad Collins retains his place in goal. Bobby Thomas and Liam Kitching form the central defensive partnership with Milan van Ewijk and Jay Dasilva making up the full-back positions. In midfield, Josh Eccles comes in for Sheaf alongside Liam Kelly, while Callum O’Hare returns to the number ten role.
The attacking trio consists of Haji Wright, Kasey Palmer, and Ellis Simms, with Palmer expected to play on the left. Kasey Palmer also makes an appearance in the starting lineup in place of the rested Jake Bidwell. Leading scorer Ellis Simms replaces Matty Godden up front.
