“Bad for Business” Leicester City set to be involved in irritating negotiations over multi-million pound exit

Leicester City is set to engage in negotiations with Bologna regarding left-back Victor Kristiansen, who has been on loan with the Italian side since the summer and is now sought after on a permanent basis.

The Foxes are under pressure to offload players before July in order to balance their financial books and avoid further penalties. They have been charged with violating the Profit and Sustainability rules of the Premier League in the 2022/23 season, which may result in a points deduction for the upcoming campaign.

One player who could potentially be sold before the deadline is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who has been a standout performer for Leicester in the Championship this season. Despite interest from other clubs, he has expressed a desire to stay at Leicester.

On the other hand, Kristiansen’s situation is different as Bologna is looking to negotiate a lower price for his permanent transfer. The Italian side is impressed with his performances but believes the initial price agreed upon is too high.

Leicester is now faced with the challenge of standing firm on Kristiansen’s price in order to make a profit from the 21-year-old’s transfer. They are also considering selling Dewsbury-Hall to generate additional income and improve their financial standing.
