Leeds United make Leicester look pathetic: Leicester City’s left completely embarrassed as Leeds United’s latest viral video takes social media by storm.

Leeds United and Leicester City have been engaged in a fierce competition for promotion, but Leicester’s recent behavior has marred their image. The Foxes clinched the Championship title with a 3-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle, leaving only one automatic promotion spot left for Leeds and Ipswich Town to fight over.

Despite all three teams faltering towards the end of the season, Ipswich Town is now in a strong position to beat Leeds to second place after a series of disappointing results at Elland Road. Even though Leeds managed a thrilling 4-3 win against Middlesbrough, they have suffered three defeats in their last five matches, including a humiliating 4-0 loss to QPR.

As it seems increasingly likely that Daniel Farke’s team will need the play-offs to secure promotion, a video has surfaced showing Leicester players mocking Leeds’ recent struggles. In the video, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall leads a rendition of ‘Leeds are falling apart again’ at the club’s end-of-season awards ceremony, reminiscent of Wales’ Viking Clap celebration at Euro 2016.

Given the financial troubles facing Leicester and potential penalties for overspending, their premature boasting towards Leeds appears unwise. Farke’s team, while unsatisfied with recent performances, seem destined for the Championship play-offs rather than automatic promotion.

Should Leeds find themselves in the play-offs, they can use this video as motivation to prove their worth on the pitch. Despite their incredible form this season, particularly at Elland Road where they only suffered their first home defeat in April, it would be a shame for Leeds not to showcase their talent in the top flight after competing admirably against Chelsea in the FA Cup earlier in the season.
