Coventry City remains optimistic in their efforts to convince Callum O’Hare to extend his contract with the club, despite uncertainty surrounding his future. The club’s retained list, released today, included offers for new deals for O’Hare and young goalkeeper Luke Bell.However, it was confirmed that veteran Liam Kelly will be departing the club after a successful seven-year tenure which saw him play a key role in the team’s rise up the divisions. Goalkeeper Simon Moore, as well as under-21 players Dermi Lusala and Bradley Stretton, have also been released.Manager Mark Robins expressed gratitude to those leaving the club and acknowledged Kelly’s status as a legend at Coventry City. Loan defender Luis Binks is set to return to Bologna after a successful spell with the Sky Blues, with potential for a permanent move in the future.Robins remains hopeful about O’Hare’s future with the club, despite the likelihood of him moving on. The uncertainties surrounding the playmaker’s decision have left the club in a state of anticipation. Regardless of the outcome, Robins is focused on improving the team for the upcoming season.
