Philippe Clement, the manager of Rangers, has dismissed Chris Sutton’s suggestion that Brendan Rodgers is getting to him with a comment made about Celtic last week. Rodgers had made a remark about having fun in the upcoming derby match, which Clement found disrespectful.
After responding to Rodgers in a press conference, Clement was asked about Sutton’s opinion that Rodgers was winning the mind games. Clement denied this, stating he didn’t have time to comment on every little thing happening. He made it clear that he had voiced his thoughts on the matter and considered it finished.
Regarding the upcoming derby clash, where Celtic is currently leading by three points in the league, Rodgers had mentioned having fun in the match. Clement found this disrespectful towards his team and vowed to also have fun come game day.
