DEAL CONFIRMED: Ipswich Town set sights on landing Millwall ace following promotion

Ipswich Town are eyeing a move for Millwall forward Zian Flemming ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to a report from London News Online.

The Tractor Boys are eager to secure the services of the 25-year-old Dutchman as they prepare for life in the Premier League following their promotion. Flemming has been a key player for Millwall since joining in 2022, scoring eight goals in the last campaign to help secure their status in the second tier.

His contract at Millwall is set to expire in June 2025, but the club has the option to extend it for an additional year. Ipswich Town see Flemming as a valuable addition to their attacking department, providing competition and depth as they aim to compete at the highest level.

Other clubs, such as Spanish side Alaves and MLS team San Jose Earthquakes, have also shown interest in Flemming in the past. However, Ipswich Town are now reportedly leading the race for his signature.

Millwall face a tough decision regarding Flemming’s future, with the possibility of selling him to free up funds for reinforcements. Yet, they must weigh the risks of letting go of a player who has been instrumental in their recent success.

Before his move to Millwall, Flemming impressed at Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands, showcasing his goal-scoring abilities. With his experience at various clubs in his home country, Ipswich Town are hopeful that he can make an impact in the Premier League next season.
