Walcott asked Sutton if he could see Rodgers making a return to the English Premier League, given the current managerial situation in various clubs. Sutton avoided giving a direct answer, stating that Rodgers still has a three-year contract with Celtic.
Walcott persisted, praising Rodgers’ management style and suggesting that many clubs in need of an experienced manager would be eager to have him. Sutton acknowledged that a return to the Premier League might be possible in the future, but not in the immediate present.
