Manchester United have reportedly met with the agent of Ipswich Town manager, Kieran McKenna, to discuss the possibility of him replacing Erik ten Hag at the end of the season, as reported by sources in France.
Due to underwhelming performances and results under ten Hag, the Red Devils are considering a change in the dugout. Potential candidates to take over include England manager Gareth Southgate and departing Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel.
McKenna, who has enjoyed success at Ipswich with two consecutive promotions, is highly regarded and Manchester United have made a move towards securing his services, according to reports from Foot Mercato.
While Southgate remains a contender, concerns about his availability following Euro 2024 have led Manchester United to explore other options. However, McKenna is said to be eager for the opportunity to manage Manchester United and has already started talks with the club.
