Cavs plagued by relentless wave of devastating injuries: Crowquill

In Cleveland, Ohio, the Cavs have been plagued by injuries throughout the season, much like many other teams in the NBA. However, the absence of Donovan Mitchell in Game 4 felt especially devastating.

Mitchell had been a standout player in the series against Boston, scoring efficiently while also getting his teammates involved. The Cavs had already been adjusting to playing without Jarrett Allen and were welcoming back Dean Wade, a sharpshooter who had been out for a while.

With Mitchell’s injury news, the Cavs’ hopes of tying the series at 2-2 seemed less likely, despite their dominant performance in Game 2 in Boston. Now, they face the challenge of trying to avoid elimination in front of a hostile Boston crowd, knowing that they will likely be without their star player and top scorer, Donovan Mitchell, once again.
