Rod Stewart Shocking retaliation, warns ‘disrespectful’ pundit to ‘stay far from Scottish football’

Renowned musician Sir Rod Stewart has come to the defense of Scottish football amid criticism from TalkSport pundit Simon Jordan. In a passionate Instagram post to his 1.4 million followers, Sir Rod, who has Scottish roots and supports Celtic Football Club, urged Jordan to stop belittling Scottish football.

Expressing his frustration with the continuous disrespect towards Scottish football from down south, Sir Rod called out Jordan for his comments on the quality of Scottish teams compared to English leagues. He emphasized that while Scottish football may not be on par with the EPL or La Liga, it is a beloved part of their culture.

Sir Rod also took a dig at Jordan’s time at Crystal Palace, questioning his accomplishments at the club. He echoed Graeme Souness’ sentiment that with the financial support available in English football, teams like Celtic or Rangers could compete in the Championship given time.

In response to Jordan’s criticism of Celtic and Rangers, Sir Rod declared, “So shut the f*** up Jordan, and leave Scottish football alone.” The music legend’s comments came after a heated exchange between Jordan and Souness on TalkSport regarding the potential success of Scottish clubs in English football.

As the debate between the two continues, Jordan’s representatives have been approached for further comment on the matter.
