Porzingis’ return timeline is uncertain, leaving the Celtics in a predicament. While Al Horford played well in Game 1, Porzingis’ unique style of play may be sorely missed if the Celtics advance.
With formidable opponents like Karl Anthony-Towns and Rudy Gobert on the Timberwolves and a well-rounded Mavericks team to contend with, Smith fears for the Celtics’ championship prospects if Porzingis doesn’t recover in time.
However, first, they must conquer the resilient Pacers, who displayed impressive determination in Game 1.
