As a former Scotland international, McCoist should have shown more support for his country. Instead, he seemed more interested in protecting his career.
Graeme Souness, another former Scotland captain, also failed to show any passion for his national team. It was disappointing to see his lack of emotion in the studio.
Souness even went as far as to criticize Callum McGregor, highlighting his Celtic captaincy while ignoring the mistakes of other players. His bias was clear, and it was a disappointing display from a former football legend.
Overall, both Souness and McCoist were as embarrassing as the players on the field. And let’s not forget about Steve Clarke’s questionable tactics.
