According to TEAMtalk, both Southampton and Ipswich Town are eyeing a potential deal to sign Joe Rodon from Tottenham Hotspur this transfer window.
Rodon, who enjoyed his loan stint at Leeds, is reportedly keen on a permanent move to the club despite their failure to secure promotion to the Premier League. However, Daniel Farke’s Norwich City have not given up on landing the centre-back, although the financial terms of the deal could prove to be a hurdle.
With Tottenham setting a price tag of £12m to £15m for Rodon, Norwich would need to offload players before making a move. Additionally, Leeds are facing competition from top-flight clubs interested in the Wales international, including Southampton and Ipswich.
In a surprising turn of events, former Spurs manager Jose Mourinho is rumored to be considering a move for the 26-year-old to Fenerbahce. It seems Tottenham will have no trouble fetching a decent sum for Rodon this summer, given the interest from multiple clubs.
