Chelsea are close to finalizing the signing of Barcelona striker Marc Guiu after successfully completing his medical and agreeing on personal terms. Manager Enzo Maresca is not stopping there, as he has his sights set on a top Leeds star for their next move.
Chelsea has been quite active in the summer transfer window as they continue with their rebuilding process under new ownership. Since Todd Boehly took over, the club has spent over £1bn on transfer fees for various players. However, they have learned that having balance in the squad and selecting only the necessary players is crucial.
