TOTAL DISASTER: Leeds player Rejects Elland Road deal and passes medical at new club

Leeds United are set to say goodbye to another talented youngster from their academy at Thorp Arch, as Archie Gray completes his move to Tottenham Hotspur following a successful medical with a Championship rival.

At just 18 years old, Gray’s departure to Tottenham has brought in £40m for Leeds, a portion of which was used to secure Joe Rodon’s return to the club permanently, much to the delight of the fans.

The future of other key players like Jamie Shackleton, Liam Cooper, and Cody Drameh remains uncertain, with Leeds offering all three new contracts. However, as their current deals expired on Sunday, they technically became free agents.

Despite the praises from Ross McCormack and Daniel Farke, it seems Shackleton’s time at Elland Road may have come to an end, as reports suggest he has rejected Leeds in favor of a move to Sheffield United. The midfielder underwent a medical with Chris Wilder’s side on Wednesday and is expected to sign on a free transfer soon.

Shackleton’s versatility and commitment have made him a valuable asset for Leeds, but at 24 years old, he is now at a stage in his career where regular playing time is crucial. A move to Sheffield United could provide him with the opportunity to become a key player and fulfill his potential in the Championship.
