UNBELIEVABLE STATEMENT: Finance Expert reveals shocking legal implications of Leeds PSR update following Gray transfer – you won’t believe what this means for the club!

Dan Plumley has insisted that the sale of Archie Gray by Leeds United should be able to be included in their latest accounts, even though it was finalized after the June 30 deadline. The £40 million deal was officially announced on July 2, but Plumley believes it should still be permissible for PSR calculations at Elland Road.

According to football finance expert Graham Smyth, if the agreement was reached and approved by the Premier League before the deadline, it should be acceptable to use in the accounts. Plumley explained that many clubs have followed a similar practice this year, with deals being announced shortly after the official deadline but still being considered valid.

After previous sales of Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams, the sale of Gray in the “Mega” Red Bull deal should help improve the financial health of Leeds United in their upcoming accounts, especially after the challenges of the previous season and unpaid transfer fees. Plumley and others are hopeful that these transactions will put the club and 49ers Enterprises on a more stable financial path moving forward.
