TOTAL DISASTER: Leeds on the brink of financial collapse as £100m worth of talent faces imminent departure before crucial Pompey clash!

Pompey kicks off their return to the Championship with a tough match against Leeds United, the favorites to win the title after narrowly missing out on promotion the previous season. Despite facing stiff competition from teams like Burnley, Sheffield United, and Luton Town, many are tipping Leeds to come out on top just like they did in 2020.

With over a month to go until the season starts, both teams are making moves in the transfer market. Leeds have seen Archie Gray leave for £30m, but have managed to secure Joe Rodon for £10m on a permanent deal. However, they may have to part ways with star player Crysencio Summerville, who is attracting interest from Premier League clubs with a valuation between £35-40m.

Meanwhile, Pompey have brought in Jordan Archer, Josh Murphy, and Jordan Williams on free transfers, as well as securing Samuel Silvera on loan from Middlesbrough. They have also seen 18 players leave after their contracts expired, with only four finding new clubs so far.

As the transfer window progresses, both teams are facing the challenge of securing their key players and finding replacements. Leeds may lose star players such as Wilfried Gnonto, Georginio Rutter, and Summerville, who are all keen on playing at a higher level, while Pompey are working on strengthening their squad for the tough season ahead.
