DONE DEAL- AGREEMENT REACHED- Glen Kamara to Rennes “here we go” -Rangers on the verge of a jaw-dropping payday with mind-blowing six-figure windfall as Glen Kamara transfer agreed by Leeds United.

According to the Daily Record, Rangers are set to pocket £860,000 as a result of Leeds United’s sale of Glen Kamara to Rennes for £8.6 million. The Gers had a 10% sell-on clause included in the deal they made with Leeds last year.

Kamara originally joined Leeds for £5 million, but now Rennes have agreed to pay more for the Finland international, with personal terms already sorted. The transfer saga last summer ended with a good fee for Rangers and the added bonus of a sell-on clause.

Even though it was clear that Kamara had no future at Rangers, the club managed to negotiate a profitable deal. This unexpected windfall will help boost the club’s budget as they navigate a summer of needed reconstruction at Ibrox. Despite already making several transfers in and out, the club’s budget remains tight. However, with this extra revenue, Rangers can now pursue important deals in the transfer market.
