“I won’t train with the club, I’m ready to leave” : Leeds United training ground scandal sparks rumors of MASSIVE £3.4m profit as 5th player set to Exit Elland Road.

Leeds United midfielder Glen Kamara was noticeably absent from the club’s recent pre-season training video, causing speculation about his future as he reportedly closes in on a move to French club Stade Rennais. New signing Joe Rothwell was featured prominently in the video footage, shot at Leeds’ Thorp Arch training base, while Kamara’s absence raised questions about his potential transfer.

Rumors in France suggest that Leeds and Rennes have agreed on a deal worth around £8.4 million for the 28-year-old Finnish international, who made 42 appearances for Leeds last season. Kamara, who joined Leeds from Rangers last year, did not score any goals in the previous season but provided four assists in his debut campaign.

If the reports are accurate, Leeds could make a significant profit of £3.4 million on Kamara, who was signed for a reported fee of £5 million. With the departure of Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur and the potential return of Ethan Ampadu to the midfield, Leeds have already seen changes in their midfield options this pre-season.

Alongside Rothwell and Ilia Gruev, youngster Charlie Crew has also impressed in pre-season fixtures, while Kamara’s potential move to Rennes could mark the fifth permanent exit from Leeds this summer, as manager Daniel Farke continues to reshape his squad for the upcoming Championship season.
