Leeds United are in the midst of a transfer battle to acquire Sheffield United right-back Jayden Bogle, with their sights now set on securing another defender as well.
After narrowly missing out on promotion last season, Daniel Farke’s team is eager to make a return to the Premier League this year.
While Leeds works to retain their key players, such as Crysencio Summerville who is attracting interest from clubs like Brighton and Hove Albion, they are also actively pursuing new signings. One potential addition to their squad is AC Milan left-back Fode Ballo-Toure, once hailed as a rising star in the left-back position.
Despite only making a handful of appearances for Fulham last season, Leeds remains keen on securing Ballo-Toure’s services. They face competition from Watford and Turkish club Besiktas, as well as interest from La Liga outfits Sevilla and Celta Vigo.
With just one year left on his contract with Milan, Ballo-Toure is expected to be available for a reduced fee. While the exact price remains unknown, his market value suggests it could be around £2.5m.
In addition to strengthening their defense, Leeds is also looking to bolster their midfield following the departures of Archie Gray and Glen Kamara. Tottenham Hotspur’s Oliver Skipp has been mentioned as a possible target, although negotiations have yet to progress.
