PERMANENT DEAL CONFIRMED: Rodgers set to land his own Tessmann in Celtic swoop for “terrific” £9.4k-p/w star – personal terms agreed.

As Celtic prepares for their 2024/25 Scottish Premiership opener against Kilmarnock, there is anticipation surrounding the potential debut of new faces in the squad.

With Joe Hart retiring at the end of last season, the goalkeeping position will see either Kasper Schmeichel or Viljami Sinisalo stepping in to fill his shoes.

Midfielder Paulo Bernardo is rumored to be making his loan move permanent from Benfica, adding creativity to the team. Manager Brendan Rodgers is also exploring other midfield options to strengthen his squad.

One player linked to Celtic is Tanner Tessmann from Venezia, who was close to joining Inter before the deal fell through. However, another potential target is Riley McGree from Middlesbrough, who offers a similar attacking threat at a more affordable price.

McGree’s ability to score and create chances makes him an attractive option for Rodgers, who sees him as a cost-effective alternative to Tessmann. With both players excelling in progressing the ball and generating opportunities in attack, McGree could be the ideal addition to Celtic’s midfield lineup.
