Despite the negativity, Lindstrøm’s loan deal to Everton is seen as a positive move for both clubs. Napoli would recoup their investment in Lindstrøm, who was signed for €25m, not €30m as some claimed. The upfront fee paid by Everton and the potential for a permanent signing for €22m next summer means Napoli would fully recover their initial investment.
