Furious Norwich City manager Johannes Hoff Thorup has revealed that Adam Idah will be facing disciplinary action for going missing before their pre-season trip to Germany. Speculation linking the striker with a move to Celtic seems to have played a part in Idah’s absence from the friendly match against Hoffenheim.
Idah, who impressed while on loan at Celtic last season, has reportedly caught the eye of Brendan Rodgers who is eager to secure his services for the upcoming campaign. Rumors had suggested that his future would be decided after the game, but Idah was left out of the squad as Celtic continued to pursue a deal.
After the match, Thorup confirmed that Idah would be disciplined internally for not traveling with the rest of the team.
