SHOCKING: Everton set to be the surprise winners in race for Nott’m Forest winger transfer as Toffees ‘shock the world’ with bid for Serie A striker

Everton’s interest in CA Talleres winger Ramon Sosa has been confirmed by sources, but they face competition from Nottingham Forest for his signature, according to TEAMtalk.

The Toffees had initially shown interest in the Paraguay international in January, and now sporting director Kevin Thelwell may increase efforts to secure the 24-year-old.

Sean Dyche is determined to bring in a new winger, with Everton missing out on Jaden Philogene and turning to other options. Wilfried Gnonto is on their radar, but Leeds’ high valuation is proving to be a stumbling block.

Sosa is keen on a move to the Premier League this summer, having impressed with 17 goals and 13 assists in 56 games for Talleres since January last year. Thelwell sees him as a potential competitor for Dwight McNeil at Goodison Park.

Nottingham Forest have also entered the race for Sosa, with discussions already taking place. Chelsea and Wolves are monitoring the situation as well, with the player’s agent confirming Chelsea’s interest.

Talleres value Sosa at £12m, making him an attractive option for potential suitors. Meanwhile, Everton continue to pursue Roma striker Tammy Abraham amid uncertainty over Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future. West Ham are also in the running for Abraham, but their focus is currently on another target. Roma values Abraham at €30m, making a deal potentially dependent on Everton making significant sales.
