OWEN BECK TO CELTIC “here we go” MEDICALS in a bit-Celtic steal Owen Beck in outrageous double deal and West Ham United swoop in for Niclas Fullkrug

West Ham are on the verge of securing the services of Borussia Dortmund’s Niclas Fullkrug, with reports suggesting a deal is close to completion. Fullkrug, who played a key role in Dortmund’s run to the Champions League final last season, had an impressive domestic campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists in the Bundesliga.

The 31-year-old striker has been away on international duty with Germany at Euro 2024, where he had to settle for a place on the bench behind Kai Havertz. Despite limited playing time, Fullkrug managed to score two goals during the tournament.

According to The Mirror, West Ham have had two previous offers rejected but are now close to finalizing a deal for Fullkrug. The agreement is said to include an initial fee of £23m plus £3.5m in add-ons, making it a relatively inexpensive move for the Hammers.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking to offload academy graduate Owen Beck, with the left-back set to leave Anfield after a stint on loan at Dundee. Interest in Beck has been reported from clubs across the British Isles, including Celtic, Championship sides, and League One favorites Birmingham City.

In the Championship, Oxford United have made a significant signing in Malcolm Ebiowei, who joins on a season-long loan from Crystal Palace. The 20-year-old winger, who has represented England at Under-20 level, will look to make an impact as Oxford aim to avoid relegation back to League One.
