“I highly doubt if he’ll join us, it’sunlikely” -Despite claims, Coventry City player’s arrival seems IMPOSSIBLE and fans are left in disbelief amid speculation of shocking transfer saga

Despite swirling rumors suggesting a potential transfer of Coventry City’s Milan van Ewijk to PSV Eindhoven this summer, the likelihood of such a move seems slim, as reported by Soccer News and Voetbal International journalist Marco Timmer. PSV is in urgent need of defensive reinforcements due to injuries decimating their squad, leading them to explore options for players in each defensive position. Van Ewijk has emerged as a candidate for the right-back position, with reports from the Netherlands indicating interest from PSV.

However, despite his impressive performances in the Championship since joining Coventry City from Heerenveen last summer, it appears that any potential move to PSV has been dismissed at this point. Timmer suggests that PSV has essentially crossed Van Ewijk off their list for this transfer window. There seems to be a significant obstacle in the form of a hefty price tag, with PSV reportedly having to pay double the amount they could have secured him for last season, totaling €9m.

While speculation continues to swirl about a possible return to the Netherlands for Van Ewijk, it is not just PSV showing interest. Feyenoord and Ajax have also been linked with the Coventry star, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his future. Nevertheless, it seems that, for now, a move to PSV is unlikely for Van Ewijk as the club explores other options for defensive reinforcements.
