“The rivals got my attention, i mught dump Leeds” -Leeds devastated as they’re set to miss out on ‘consistent’ 21-year-old that starred at Championship club last season

Following the departure of Crysencio Summerville, Leeds United has ramped up their activity in the transfer window. Despite this, they are facing disappointment as they are set to miss out on a midfielder they were recently linked with.

With the funds from Summerville’s sale, Leeds is looking to strengthen their squad by targeting a new full-back, midfielder, and a replacement for West Ham’s latest acquisition. Among the players on their radar are Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe, who scored 12 goals in the Championship last season. Leeds are looking to secure a deal for him below £10m.

Wolves defender Hugo Bueno is also a target for Leeds, although they are yet to make any moves with their first game against Portsmouth fast approaching. Meanwhile, free agent Brahima Diarra, who impressed at Huddersfield Town last season, has reportedly agreed personal terms with Sivasspor in Turkey.

Leeds understand the need for a versatile midfielder but are wary of signing players who may not meet their standards. While Diarra has potential, a move to Leeds may not be beneficial for his career progression. Instead, a move to Sivasspor could provide him with the game time needed to shine and potentially make a return to European football in the future.
