Another sensational ace offered to West Ham & Aston Villa after he changes agents over deal collapse- deal in progress

West Ham have been presented with a new opportunity to secure the services of Mario Hermoso on a free transfer after the defender turned down offers from other clubs, as reported by Area Napoli.

The 29-year-old center-back has made a change in representation as he seeks to find a new club following his departure from Atletico Madrid in La Liga. Despite interest from both West Ham and Aston Villa in the Premier League, Hermoso rejected potential moves to Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Furthermore, a proposed switch to Napoli fell through due to demands from his former agents.

Now, with a new agent at the helm, Hermoso’s future is being actively pursued with meetings being set up with Italian clubs AC Milan and Inter. Meanwhile, West Ham continue to pursue Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo after successfully acquiring Max Kilman earlier in the transfer window.

While Hermoso could provide valuable cover at left-back, it appears that West Ham’s main focus remains on strengthening their central defense with Todibo being identified as their top priority. With ongoing uncertainty surrounding a potential move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the recent departure of Ben Johnson to Ipswich, there remain question marks over whether Hermoso could still be a viable option for West Ham.

As the transfer window deadline approaches and other deals are wrapped up, Hermoso may still become a possibility for West Ham. However, at present, it seems that the club’s director of football Tim Steidten is more inclined towards pursuing other defensive targets rather than adding Hermoso to the squad.
