SAD NEWS “it has been a pleasure playing for this club but… -Leeds United player set to complete permanent exit today after three years at Elland Road.

Leeds United has been diligently working on fine-tuning their squad before making any new additions this summer. Another player departure is expected today as the club continues to make moves in the transfer market.

Marc Roca has been secured on a permanent deal at Real Betis for around £4m, while Archie Gray has been sold to Tottenham for a substantial £40m. This sale has allowed Leeds to bring Joe Rodon back permanently at a reduced cost.

Jamie Shackleton has departed for Sheffield United on a free transfer, leading to a reunion at Elland Road on October 19. Several players, including Liam Cooper, Ian Poveda, and Cody Drameh, are now free agents, with more departures anticipated in the coming months.

It is likely that Diego Llorente will follow Roca to Betis, while Charlie Cresswell’s move to Toulouse is back in discussion. Junior Firpo is expected to leave before his contract expires in a year, and interest is growing for Joel Piroe and Patrick Bamford from other clubs.

Today, goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson is set to permanently leave Elland Road after three years with the club. With limited opportunities last season, he is poised to join Polish side Raków Częstochowa.

An agreement has been reached for Klaesson, who has one year left on his contract. Final details of the deal are being finalized, with an official announcement expected later today.
