ANTHONY ELANGA TO NEWCASTLE “here we go”: Newcastle in advanced negotiations to secure astounding transfer deal with Nottingham Forest star!

Newcastle United is actively pursuing a new forward signing, with Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga being added to their list of potential right-wingers, sources have exclusively told Football Insider.

Senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke, speaking on the Inside Track podcast, disclosed that the Magpies are currently in talks over multiple deals and have a keen interest in Elanga, whom they greatly admire.

Manager Eddie Howe has made securing a wide forward his top priority for the summer transfer window, with the 22-year-old Elanga seen as a viable candidate to fill that role. The former Manchester United winger had an impressive season last year, scoring five goals and providing nine assists in 39 appearances.

While Newcastle have also considered West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, a deal for him seems unlikely due to the high valuation placed on the England international by his club, upwards of £100 million.

In addition to Elanga, Newcastle is exploring other options, including discussions with Chelsea regarding a possible deal for Noni Madueke. The club had initially targeted Michael Olise, but he ultimately chose a move to Bayern Munich instead.

However, Newcastle is not only focused on bringing in new players but also on retaining current key assets like Anthony Gordon. The club is facing interest from Liverpool for the English international, and there are concerns that Gordon may resort to extreme measures, including going on strike, to secure a move.
