BREAKING: West Ham’s jaw-dropping £20m mega deal to snatch world-class midfielder Carlos Soler from Valencia – shock Soucek exit imminent!?

West Ham United are preparing to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler with a £20million offer, as reported by The Mirror.

The newspaper stated in print on Thursday that manager Julen Lopetegui has been a long-time admirer of the 27-year-old Spaniard and is making a strong push to secure his signature before the transfer window shuts on 30 August.

To make room for Soler in the squad, it is believed that the Hammers will need to offload Tomas Soucek, who has been with the club for over four years.

Soler, who prefers a move to the Premier League over Real Sociedad, is seen as a valuable addition to the midfield as West Ham continue their active summer of recruitment, which has already seen the arrival of Guido Rodriguez.

With a strong midfield lineup that includes James Ward-Prowse, Edson Alvarez, and Rodriguez, Lopetegui will have to carefully consider his selection for each game if Soler joins the ranks.

Having amassed significant experience from his time at Valencia, PSG, and with the Spanish national team, Soler would bring a wealth of talent and knowledge to West Ham, making him a promising addition to their squad.
