The pursuit of Jonathan Rowe from Norwich City has also gained momentum, with Ramazani being seen as a prime target for clubs looking to bolster their attacking options after Almeria’s relegation from La Liga.
Almeria’s attempt to secure a new deal for the 23-year-old could complicate matters, but Leeds remain the frontrunners in the race for his signature.
Despite interest from other clubs like Marseille and Monaco, Leeds’ financial position puts them in a strong position to make a move for Rowe if necessary.
However, time is running out for Leeds to make further additions to their squad, with Rutter set to become the latest key player to leave after a summer of departures.
With only Jayden Bogle added as a replacement for Gray so far, missing out on Ramazani could leave Leeds with a disappointing end to the transfer window.
