Haji Wright of Coventry City has highlighted two key areas that the Sky Blues need to address in order to achieve their potential for a play-off spot this season.
After starting their campaign with a 1-0 loss to Stoke City, Coventry City secured their first win in the Championship against Oxford United thanks to a late goal from Wright. Looking ahead to their upcoming match against Bristol City, Wright emphasized the importance of converting their chances, stating, “We create enough to finish the game early… If we continue like this and capitalize on our opportunities, it will make matches much easier for us.”
While pleased to get their first points on the board, Coventry City will focus on tightening up defensively after conceding three goals in their first two games. Wright acknowledged the need to learn from their mistakes defensively and prevent them from happening again.
