DEAL CONFIRMED: West Ham on the Verge of Pulling Off Astonishing £21m Transfer Coup, Club Set to Land Star Player Who’s Desperate to Join!

Reports suggest that West Ham United is vigorously pursuing a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Carlos Soler before the imminent deadline, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

With Julen Lopetegui taking over the managerial reins from David Moyes, the Hammers are looking to refresh their squad and continue their recent success, having lifted the Conference League trophy in 2023 and consistently finishing in the top half of the league.

Having already splashed around £125m this summer, West Ham is not resting on their laurels and is aiming to secure a new midfielder before the transfer window closes.

In discussions with GiveMeSport, Romano reveals that West Ham’s director Tim Steidten is leading the charge to secure Soler, with Lopetegui also eager to bring in his fellow Spaniard.

Negotiations are reportedly underway with PSG, with Soler showing interest in joining the London Stadium outfit.

The 27-year-old still has three years left on his contract with PSG, but the French club is willing to part ways for a fee in the region of £21m.

With Guido Rodriguez already bolstering the midfield, Soler’s potential arrival could cast doubt on James Ward-Prowse’s future at West Ham. The English midfielder, who arrived in a big-money move from Southampton last summer, has not featured prominently under Lopetegui this season.

As the transfer saga unfolds, it remains to be seen if West Ham can secure Soler’s signature and what implications it may have on Ward-Prowse’s role in the team.
