Unbelievable turnaround: Nottingham Forest lose out on multi-million profit as “legend” player surpasses Sosa in value!

Since their return to the Premier League in 2022, Nottingham Forest have narrowly avoided relegation twice, but are aiming to secure a more comfortable position in the table this season.

Manager Nuno Espírito Santo has had the opportunity to shape the team during his first summer in charge, bringing in new players to strengthen the squad. The team has started the 2024/25 season well, with three undefeated league matches, including a win against Southampton and draws against Bournemouth and Wolves.

The addition of center-back Nikola Milenkovic has provided much-needed leadership and aerial prowess to the defense. And the arrival of Paraguayan winger Ramon Sosa from Tallares has added attacking firepower to the team, despite some initial difficulties in completing the transfer.

Although Sosa has only made a couple of appearances so far, there is high expectation for him to make a significant impact, given his impressive performances in South America in recent seasons. His market value may be lower than former fan-favorite goalkeeper Brice Samba, who left Forest for Lens in a deal that the club now regrets.

Recent reports suggest that Forest considered re-signing Samba, who has gone on to achieve success with his national team, increasing his market value significantly. The club’s struggle to find a suitable replacement for Samba highlights their desire to bring him back, as they continue to search for a goalkeeper who can match his impact on and off the field.
