“DISRESPECTFUL AND COWARDLY DISPLAY: Ian Wright bravely confronts shocking disrespect in Premier League showdown at Celtic! Must see moment of triumph!

Over the years, Celtic Park has seen a number of players transfer from the Premier League in England to showcase their skills. Some of the most notable ones include Chris Sutton, John Hartson, Alan Thompson, Neil Lennon, Scott Sinclair, and Olivier Ntcham. However, not many fans may be aware that former Arsenal striker Ian Wright once wore the famous green and white Hoops.

In 1999, towards the end of his career, Wright joined Celtic as emergency cover for Henrik Larsson who had suffered a broken leg. It was during his time at Arsenal that Wright admitted to a ‘cowardly’ act towards former Celtic player Regi Blinker, which he only properly sorted out when they were teammates in Glasgow.

Reflecting on his past antics, Wright confessed to pulling Blinker’s hair in a Premier League match and acknowledged it as disrespectful. He made amends with Blinker during their time at Celtic, apologizing for his actions and ensuring they resolved the issue.

Wright’s time at Celtic was brief, coinciding with a turbulent period for the club under John Barnes’ management. Despite the challenges, he made nine appearances and scored three goals before retiring at the end of the season.
